The installer signs in and still sees €12.40 — the same catalog figure as Shopping ads. The deal was €7.10. You already run three active Shopify B2B catalogs. A fourth company is “buy Plus” or someone overwrites catalog 2 and the other tier moves with it.
A Shopify company price list B2B is Custom Pricing in OO - EU B2B & Wholesale. How company price lists work: fixed B2B prices, or a discount, on selected products and variants, for the customers or companies you pick. Everyone else keeps the normal storefront price.
Shopify Basic, Grow, and Advanced: at most 3 active B2B catalogs across B2B markets. Plus: unlimited. A company location: at most 25 Shopify catalogs. App lists do not consume those slots.
Live on the site: customer-group wholesale prices. This article is the list itself — company, not the bulk grid.
A native B2B catalog is a Shopify object. Three active on non-Plus fills fast: T1, T2, house distributor. Customer four wants 8% under T1. No slot left.
Typical damage:
Overwrite catalog 2. T2 wakes up on T1 numbers.
A second shop. Duplicate SKUs, stock, SEO, fulfilment.
Draft orders by hand. Fine until the buyer opens the product page themselves.
Discount code `INSTALLER`. It leaks into HTML, inboxes, forums.
None of that is: a list in the app, assigned to a company or customer, catalog slots untouched, price after login once the embed is on.
From the company price list docs:
fixed price or discount on selected products/variants
for chosen customers or companies
other visitors keep catalog
meant for company lists and groups when Shopify catalogs are not enough
Plan. Free: one active Custom Pricing list on the storefront. Extra lists you enable are stored; only the oldest active one is used, same pattern as the single registration form. Starter and Growth: more lists. Turn the module on under B2B pricing.
Who sees it. Company contacts see the custom price after login, once the theme app embed is enabled. Finish setup on the Custom Pricing card if nothing changes on the PDP.
Not a bulk form. Bulk forms = many SKUs at once, Growth. Volume pricing = unit price by quantity, Starter. Custom Pricing = the company or customer list on the product page. Three modules. Do not describe them as one switch.
What is included: shared embed for Custom Pricing, Volume pricing, Tax display, Login to see prices, Order limits. Changing theme does not wipe app config; you must add the embed again on the new live theme.
Listing now: Built for Shopify, 5.0 (34 reviews). Free: 1 custom pricing rule, 1 registration form + approve/reject; development stores uncapped. Starter $22/month or $220/year: unlimited custom + volume, company blocks, unlimited forms, EU tax exemption, tax display, login to see prices. Growth $37/month or $370/year: + bulk forms, draft checkout, repeat order, RFQ, order limits, wholesale cart. 14-day trial on paid plans. USD. Not the old $8.95.
Login to see prices is Starter, not Free. Do not promise that hide on $0. Without it, a logged-in B2B figure can still sit in the HTML for anyone who has the URL, depending on assignment. Test in a private window, not as admin.
Fastener wholesaler. Shopify Advanced. Three catalogs: light B2B, T1, T2. New: installer Van Dijk, €7.10 on 40 SKUs, catalog on the rest.
Install OO - EU B2B & Wholesale. Enable Custom Pricing under B2B pricing.
Free is enough for one Van Dijk list. A second company with a different deal needs Starter, or the oldest active list wins.
List: fixed prices on those 40 SKUs, or a discount if that is the contract. Assign to the company (or customer), never “everyone”.
Finish setup: shared embed on the published theme.
Registration form if they have no account yet (Free: one form). Approve, create company.
Private window as that contact. PDP: €7.10 on contract SKUs, catalog elsewhere. Logged out: catalog. Admin preview lies.
A bulk form for case quantities is Growth and a different surface. This list changes the PDP. Do not brief the buyer as if they were the same screen.
Count active Shopify B2B catalogs. Sitting on 3 (not Plus)? These lists fill that gap. They are not Plus catalogs.
Open the listing. Free for one list. Starter when each company needs its own list, or you need login-to-see-prices.
Module on. Embed on. Assign company or customer.
Test: logged out, T1, Van Dijk. Three numbers, one SKU, no extra catalog slot.
Customer-group pricing remains the tag path. This is the company list and why it can sit beside Shopify’s 3/25 limit.
Shopify company price list B2B is Custom Pricing: a fixed price or discount for chosen companies or customers. No catalog slot. Free: one active list. Price after login. Embed required. Not a bulk form, not quantity breaks — those are other modules.
Put the fourth contract in the app, not in catalog 2, with OO - EU B2B & Wholesale.
