The Project

Chain of Alliance was in urgent need of a new website, presenting us with an exciting first challenge in the world of web3 gaming.

The goal was to develop a high-quality and well-suited website that would be easy to manage through the modern headless CMS Storyblok.

By going through a comprehensive UX design process and developing a custom website in Next.js, seamlessly integrated with Storyblok, we successfully brought this project to completion.

The Design Process

To ensure the website included the right information and components, we first mapped out the different target audiences and analyzed their informational needs. Based on these insights, we determined the necessary pages and sections, which were then translated into a complete wireframe.

Once the wireframe was finalized, we applied the full branding to match the game Chain of Alliance, transforming the wireframe into a complete design. Throughout this process, we collaborated with the game designers to integrate various assets, such as backgrounds and other game-related content, into the design.

The result is a design that is not only visually appealing but also effectively meets the needs of the different target audiences and their specific informational requirements.

The Technology

The website was built using Next.js and is managed through the headless CMS Storyblok, which is connected via an API. Within the React code, various reusable components were developed and integrated with Storyblok, allowing Chain of Alliance to easily update the entire website and edit all content blocks independently.

One of the key advantages of using a modern headless CMS like Storyblok is the increased flexibility in both design and development. It enables the selection of the most suitable technology, in this case, Next.js, to create a high-quality, custom-built website tailored to the client’s needs. Additionally, Storyblok is a highly user-friendly and intuitive platform, making website updates significantly easier compared to most traditional CMS systems.
