Terms & Conditions – Integration between Shopify and e-Boekhouden.nl by Online Origins

1. General
These terms apply to the use of the app “e-Boekhouden Integration” (“the App”), developed and provided by Online Origins, located at Bruistensingel 500, the Netherlands.
By using the App, you agree to these terms. In addition, the general terms and conditions of Online Origins also apply to the use of the App. In case of conflict, the provisions of these App-specific terms shall prevail.
2. Purpose of the App
The App provides a connection between your Shopify store and e-Boekhouden.nl for the automatic synchronization of order data for administrative processing.
3. Use of Merchant Data
You acknowledge and agree that:
The App accesses your Shopify Merchant Data (including order data) on your behalf.
This data is only used to synchronize with e-Boekhouden.nl.
You are responsible for providing accurate, up-to-date, and relevant data.
4. Data Processing & Privacy
Your data is processed in accordance with the Online Origins Privacy Policy.
Your data is used solely for the purposes mentioned above.
We do not process sensitive personal data such as payment details or passwords.
You remain the data controller; we act as a data processor within the meaning of the GDPR.
5. Responsibility and Liability
Use of the App is entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for the correct use of the App, the management of your Shopify and e-Boekhouden.nl accounts, and the accuracy of the data processed or transferred via the App.
Online Origins shall in no event be liable for any direct or indirect damages, consequential damages, lost profits, loss of data, reduced goodwill, or other damages arising out of or related to:
Incorrect, incomplete, or outdated data provided by you;
Errors in processing, transferring, or interpreting data between Shopify and e-Boekhouden.nl;
Errors, interruptions, or failures in the operation of the App or related systems;
Incorrect configuration or use of e-Boekhouden.nl or Shopify by you or your staff;
Unauthorized access to your Shopify or e-Boekhouden.nl account due to your own negligence;
Limitations or changes in the APIs of Shopify or e-Boekhouden.nl beyond the control of Online Origins.
Online Origins makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of transferred data for accounting or tax purposes.
6. Termination of Use
You may remove the App from your Shopify store at any time.
Upon termination, your data will automatically be deleted within 30 days, unless otherwise required by law.
Shopify may block access to the App if you or we fail to comply with their API Terms or other conditions.
7. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time.
For significant changes, you will be notified via email or within the App.
Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
8. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by Dutch law.
Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in [your place of business].
9. Consent
You confirm that you are authorized to agree to these terms on behalf of your organization and that you understand the use of the App involves access to and processing of your Shopify Merchant Data.
10. Indemnification and Disclaimer
You fully indemnify Online Origins from all claims by third parties, including but not limited to fines, claims, or damages, arising from the use of the App or from errors in your bookkeeping, tax returns, or other administrative processes in which data transferred via the App plays a role.
Online Origins is not an accountant or tax advisor. Use of the App does not replace professional accounting or tax advice. You remain at all times responsible for verifying the accuracy and completeness of your financial administration.
